Justin currently serves as the Executive Director of For the City, an Austin-based nonprofit that sets the pace for strategic city restoration movements in urban centers across the country.
After graduation from Texas A&M University with an engineering degree in Industrial Distribution, Justin went to work at Dell Inc. in logistics. After specializing in maximizing performance and increasing quality, while minimizing (and ideally eliminating) wasted time, money and resources, Justin transitioned from the marketplace into the not-yet-formed-but-quickly-developing For the City Network, where he’s been since 2009.
Justin’s background in supply chain management has strategically grown the vision, impact, and effectiveness of For the City. With an intentional focus on earned revenue models whenever possible, For the City has grown (expanding to four new cities in the past twelve months) while reducing the financial burden on donors.
Deeply invested in God’s call to love the poor and marginalized, Justin and his family believe deeply in seeking restoration wherever God is opening doors to work. Justin and his wife Sally have four kids: Annabel “Annie”, Lucy, Heidi, and Abraham “Abe”. They live in Austin, where Justin also serves as a pastor and elder at the Austin Stone Community Church.
